Music Event for Children with Autism
Sydney Symphony Orchestra - Music4Health,Autism Advisory and Support Service are proud to present Sydney Symphony Orchestras Music4health. This wonderful experience was enjoyed by many children with additional needs last year, and we look forward to seeing many more children enjoying and joining in with the music this year.
Parent/Family Support Groups

At this support group meeting, our facilitor Leah Bradley will be focusing on issues
surrounding bullying and children on the Spectrum. Bullying is an issue that unfortunately many
children at school and in the community but it can be extremely difficult for children with Autism
and heartbreaking for their families. Come and chat with the group about issues your child or teen may be
facing and hear some ways of dealing with this difficult issue.

AASS House, Liverpool. Monday 7th of June 2010 at 7pm. Cantonese/Mandarin Support Group
Tracey Dinh runs the Cantonese/Mandarin Support Group. Tracey discusses a range of topics relating to families with children with Autism.
Tracey also invites guest speakers to come along and is able to translate the information for families.

Marayong Preschool, Marayong. Monday 7th of June 2010 at 7pm.
At this support group meeting, Paula Tazzyman (BSc Ma Nut & Diet) - Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Paula has over 12 years of experience working
with children including children with Autism. As a paediatric dietitian Paula has helped over 500 children each year all with developmental disorders. She also addressed issues of childhood
obesity, diet and hyperactivity, food intolerances and has helped families minimise the side effects of stimulant medication such as weight loss and appetite suppression.
Paula will be speaking for 40 mins with time afterwards for questions.
Marayong Preschool is located at: 64 Railway Road, Marayong (behind the Community Hall, opposite the station)
