  Services

24 Hour Autism Hotline.

Hotline
AASS run an Autism 24 Hour Hotline which is run by parent volunteers who have children with Autism. You can call any time of the day or night to chat to someone who can offer service and guidance from a parent's perspective. Whenever you call AASS either our office or the hotline you are speaking a parent with a child with Autism so you know that you are talking to someone who understands what you are experiencing. For parents and carers waiting for a formal assessment and diagnosis, looking for the right intervention and joining the long waiting lists can be extremely overwhelming, confusing and frustrating. We will help with unbiased advice, encouragement, guidance and support.

Support Groups

Families can often feel overwhelmed and alone when faced with questions that Autism brings. Our support groups are designed so we may come together to support one another and share our experiences. These are held on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30am and the first Monday (excluding school holidays). The meeting on the Monday evening are held in two locations, the AASS House at Liverpool and Marayong Preschool at Marayong (Blacktown area). We also have a Cantonese/Mandarin Support Group.
